How-To: DIY PCBs

I have created a HowTo at Instrucatbles on how to make “Double Sided PCBs” at home.
If you’re planning on creating your own controller its a worthwild skill to have! Without the ability to create my own boards at home whenever I like, this project would have ended up costing a hell of a lot more money, time and stress.

It costs mere pounds to make a handful of boards yourself and there’s a lot more room for experimentation! If something goes wrong and you’ve connected the an output to the wrong input, you can just re-design the diagram and start again that night.

The Blueprints are in!

I designed these controllers some time ago now, with no idea of how I was actually going to achieve anything more than some wooden boxes painted black. Luckily some of my cousins run an engineering company and were kind enough to take on the task of building these professionally for me. THANK GOD!

Monsta Mix #01

This is the first of the Monsta mixes I’ve done. It’s a freestyle session of all my current favourite tracks, anything from Tech House to Techno. I really enjoyed doing this one, so hopefully that will have shown a bit in the mix. You can visit my soundcloud page or listen to it here: [Audio [...]

Ultimate Ikea DJ Unit

I’ve been planning on updating my setup for a while (still need to get some studio monitors and a Xone42), so decided to replace the Sefour desk with a custom built unit that will house all the crap you need for DVS and with enough room for the speakers etc…
